Hi to all, I did a search regarding this subject and i found a lot of info but it doesn't seem the people have the same problem as me. When i set my operation tree to have more then one machine ---> 1)haas 2)fadal and 3)hitachi. I did my toolpath for haas and copied them to the other machine (Fadal and Hitachi). Everything look find except when i click on the files tab for haas, machine group properties appear the i click ok to accept. After,i directly click on the toolpath group from the other machine(Fadal or Hitachi) , all those the toolpath take the effect from the haas machine. Is anybody else have this issue? Thanks in advance

Maybe i'm missing something but everytime mastercam implement, we have better stuff in one hand and they remove something else from the other hand

Thanks a lot John, So there is no advantage. I was thinking if we were able to lock mastercam on one core and the other running other stuff. But it's not that simple. My computer is single core, but i am trying to convice my boss to buy dual or quadro core to get my computer faster, but there is no advantage because my computer is used on mastercam 90% of the time. He doesn't want to spend money on it. Thanks again

Metacut (MCU) has a free version for mastercam users. You need to have installed V9 and it will work with light version of MCU. You have less option, but you could see your toolpath from the nc files

Mike On my side, i don't have any metric tool library already converted. As John said, i convert them every time i choose a new tool and save it onto the inch tool library. Obviously, if it help, you could type in beside of each value 'mm' and they will be converted (in 'edit tool'). This is fast and accurate.

What version of driver did you installed? The latest version on nividia.com seem to be 169.47 but if you check this link http://www.nvidia.com/page/partner_certified_drivers.html The latest version for partner is 162.65. If i had this prob, i would try this one.

Depending of the accuracy of your cam, i suggest to replace all arc (on the same Z on front plane) with single one only (that will decrease the processing time). The problem is not there, it's on the section with XYZ movement wich you (or the software) have created it with lines, and (i beleive) mastercam cannot calculate a certain section between line direction. i remade it with arc in 3D curve and look to work good. I did not tried it with spline, that might work also (with increasing time of calculation)
