I alerted my reseller when I got it and the next day Webby had it under wraps. Guess I wasn't the only one bitching.

 

Ain't that big of a thang. If we get more and more down the road then we could do something about it as Webby suggests. Leave it be for the time being.

You know, Cadist is right. The mass majority of us have our work email up, I cant think of any IT guy in biznes that wouldnt implament some kind of spam blocker.

I get more virus containing e-mails addessed to my office addy than regular e-mails from anyone here on this forum. I think I can live with a spam once in a while. "I Love it. I'm having Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam and Spam. And can I substitute Spam for the eggs?" Three guesses where that quote came from and the first two don't count. I just let Norton AV tell me there's a virus in the e-mail and then just DEL, DEL, DEL. It's all good.

Well looks like a majority of us Agree leave it as it is. Mike hope you are not pissed at me but we do not get paid to help people on here and we do this out of the kindess of our hearts. I like to help people and if some freaking idoit person comes on here doing illegal stuff it should not raise up the feathers to limit out ability to help others by that action. The idea of this place is sound and I would imagine that quite a few people have got Mastercam or have kept Mastercam because of this very board. Keep on Keeping and we will keep on doing the things that we do. We hate the pirtates and people who do the illegal activity as much as you guys do!!!!!

Not pissed at all. It's what this place is about. I voice my opnion, you voice yours. It's simple and it works well .

 

I've never spent any time on any forum before this. Since using this forum, I have look at other forums, for other products I use and their NOTHING like this. You can post a question and never see an answer. You guys do a great job of helping AND policing this forum.

 

I sure would like to browse around the competitive forum, like they do ours. But I cant because they require registration and a license number. It just sucks. They can watch us, but we cant watch them. .

Ok and glad you see we do care about this community and yes we try to help all that want help verse's a fight. I also do not look at anyone in here as my opponent but my equal just with different ideas is all. I see other CAM software's unwillingness to open up their forums as there problem not CNC softwares or Mastercam's. I have a saying do right be me and I will do right by you. If you are such a good software and are truly going after the customer and not the sale then you want the people who use the product to be avaiable to the people who are going to buy the product. The other things is that CNC software though know about this sight and may help a little with this site is not the people who put this site up In-House-Solutions is.

 

One other thing to point out is that the Beta forum is locked and olny those who are Beta testers or Dealers are allowed in that area and that is rightfully so.

 

Also glad to see things back to normal on the email front.
