What an awesome story! Isn't it so convenient that you can go to a concert to hear someone sing or play, and also receive the added bonus of hearing their political viewpoints all for only $35.00 ( don't know the real numbers, but I am going with it anyway).

I had been lying awake at night because I wasn't sure where Linda stood. Alas, I can sleep tonight knowing.....

Thanks Man for posting that

Do I sense a little sarcasm

Good she got what she deserved she should have sang her songs and kept her mouth shut about him.

I also am liking Arnie and his girlie men outlook as well.

Linda Dated Jerry Brown

34th Governor, Democrat

(1975-1983)I wood not expect anything differant. The paying custermers at the concert,,just didn't want to pay her to hear her politicle veiws.I wouldn't expect anything differant.

Those guys shouldn't fault Arnie all that much,,, but rather look at why ,,,as soon as it was said,,,EVERYONE knew who he ment. The leading girlie man folded his arms, stomp his foot , while turning in a circle when he heard of this.

Bond teh' If your going to act like a girl you will be thought of as a one.

Now, now... Don't be so hard on Linda. If you read a story about Toby Keith getting booed off stage for saying Michael Moore is an idiot, would you say that he should have kept his opinions to himself?

Either way... If I am paying good money for entertainment, I don't want to participate in their political agenda. Even though I am a die hard republican and proud of it, I wouldn't want to hear Toby's agenda at a concert. All of these famous types seem to think that their viewpoints are important to us. But, they really aren't. At least to me.

What is funny is how the news people are putting their slant on this story. They do not metion that she was looking for soemthing to be kicked out. They also do not seen to metion the crowd for the most part boo her and wanted her off the stage also. They have the manager looking like an xxxx and I could give 2 cents what they think if I am going to listen to someone sing. I would not go there for a politcal debate I would be going to forget about work and political crap then the stupid person has to cram their ideas down my on me. It is freedom of speech but I say go to that film and pass out sticker and have a support bush sign and see the reacation you get was one radio person said today. A concert is a concert not a election convetion and she wants to go doing that or anyone in that position would get the same thing done to them if they pulled the same crap.

my 2 cents.

I think that alot of People in general do not realise the ramifications of what has gone on and is going on.

There really does need to be a Public Enquiry and George Dubya should be made to testify at such an enquiry.

The fact of the matter is, The older generation are realising how bad it is and have to and will use any forum to voice there concern, yes you could call it opinion, but really, the truth scares alot of people and thats why so many of you guys here are standing behind Bush, it's easy, right?

He's the one in power and calling the shots at the moment. Gauranteed if the presidential position were to change hands then everyone would jump to a different bandwagon.

Micheal Moore has the guts to say what he said, Linda Ronstadt did the same.

Ask the guys out there what they think, they are scared xxxxless for one and think it's nuts for another.

More later.

Two points...

First off Mr. White there are obviously two camps here that will not be swayed no matter who wins the election and reading through the forum it's proven over and over. There are people who feel that liberalism, socialist incrementalism, political correctness, and fringe special interest group over-representation are still a bigger threat than the 9/11 commision's flawed intelligence finidings. Some of the same sources all the lefties in this forum sight for their 9/11 and anti-Bush Rhetoric also stated that there was proof Saddam was seeking yellow-cake radiological materials as did Vladimer Putin a week or two ago. And for the record, technically Geneva convention guidelines are only to be afforded to an organized army with marked uniforms and marked vehichles who do not target civilians (if facts and Geneva guidlines are of any concern in this matter with Abu grab-xxxx and other Iraq related events).

Many in here felt the same way you do Mr. White about the last fecal mass that soiled up the office of the President of the United States and it seems his cronies are still up to deception and underhanded sneakiness...

see here But I know the M.O. with the reply to this link... -Don't address this and point out a hyped up Bush spin and or start the name calling i.e. Neo-con, racist etc. (Oh and for the record a recent family tree inquiry revealed Russian Jew in my herritage or "Hymee" as some in here have used the term) wink.gif

My other point is that I might choose to get away to a concert for the SOLE PURPOSE of escaping politics and the ugly business of pointing out how rotten the other candidate is.

I am going to a Toby concert this weekend will have to see if he says anything about Linda.

Scott, keep us informed. Also let us know if Toby is one of those Humvee-driving geeks that Jack Mitchell was speaking of when he made that most-unforutnate typo Aaron was referring to. tongue.gif

(Ps: Jack, I'm still waiting for the $50 you were gonna send me for saving your A$$ on that one!) wink.gif
