Nice...show the boss we called em an arse!!! I like your moxy! Ask him if you can write the code with pen and paper since you know that won't have any bugs!

His pen might leak and ruin the paper. The boss would say his Papermate crashed and was too unstable. Try rock carving it now.

Quite honestly, we all use Mc a little differently and small issues for one user may be big issues for the next. I prefer to test drive the new releases and make the determination myself. If you do the "side by side" installation as mentioned, you can always use the version that is working for you if you have trouble. I opened mr2 for testing and have not gone back.

Again, he is the boss I got to get his promission first whenever I upgrade or make any chnages with Mcax.

Really? I upgrade asap. If I am the one using the service, it should be up to me. As long as there is no cost involvement.

We've had v9 for a while but nobody used it till I started working there. I am new to programing about a year but have a lot of seat time with v9 from school. Now that we have X I want to get set up properly and efficiently. I have about 12 machines to program for lathe and mill and I am on my own. Plus I need learn X

Can you take the key home at night?

That would go along way to getting over the hump of how do I do this?

Then you can go in, dive right in and set what you need to and move on.
