I'll happily take the credit for those. :-)

Glad someone else finally found a use for them.

I've uploaded a more complete set of Ports and Port Tooling.

These have SAE, Sun, Wandfluh, VC.

These are all the ports I've done at one time or another.

Remember, Set your speeds and feeds as needed.

thank you for the excellent port info.

Does anyone know if porting tools are available where you would form the port with a contour instead of a drill type operation. It looks like if you had a cutter with the 2 angles, and the radius at top, you could use the same cutter for several size ports.

??

I would think this would be an inefficient process. You still have to drill the holes and with the coolant through porting tools you only have the port tool and thread mill. With the cutter you would need at least three tools per hole.

Bump!

I could use a tool library with these SAE guys in there. Appears this thread hasn't been rattled in awhile so I figure that people seem to know where to get them. I'm completely out of leads.

Help!

Click on the link in the post right above yours

They're right there

Has anyone got a current link to the SAE porting tools etc?  clicking the link just above sends my browsers into a tizzy...right click and Save as is also a no-go.  Security settings must be interfering somewhere.

Thanks!
