  2. Drill/Mill combo from McMaster-Carr will work well.
  3. I am not sure why it is doing that but try re-selecting the geometry. I would use 2d toolpaths if you can for the OD.

  7. Hi Jeff, The Walter Rep was in my shop today and was showing me some new style face mills (square shoulder).
  8. I thought you should be able to copy and paste it. Try renameing the current one on your home PC anything then paste the correct one in the folder.

  13. +1000 to Pete. Yes .stp generally works well with Mastercam I was able to get some solids developed from the dwg file.
  14. As I said before a bunch of lines...I would just redraw it in what ever software you are comfortable with. I was able to pick the bottom outline and copy it to a new level. I will look at it again in the morning.

  16. The DXF files from Google sketch up have a ton of extra lines, dots etc, virtually useless. This was not the Pro version though. In most cases I would just re-draw it depending on the complexity of the part.

  18. They do not like interrupted cuts, they need to be engaged.
  19. Yes I flood coolant. It does not have a sharp (90deg) edge so you need to finish with another cutter.
  20. For steel and Stainless use an AJX from Mitsubishi.
