I am not sure but it sounds like an arc drawn in the top plane with one end anchored at the origin. Then switch plane to front and gview as well, select arc and rotate to the desired angle.
A picture would be worth a 1000 words if you have one as I am not sure what you need.
If you are looking for a helix then use create helix function instead.
James I agree that given enough time and patience most problems can be worked out or around.
The problem as I see it is most people/ customers want software that performs well and has little or no problems for the money that they are paying. Is Mastercam that??? I have my doubts with some releases. That said a lot of people have or are using Mastercam to make their $$$.
I know you are well versed in a lot of programs and applications as you have put a lot of time and effort into learning these but not everybody has the same time to invest, everybody's situation is different.
I can only imagine that being a beta tester is a thankless job and requires a lot of time.
The biggest one for me is that you are going to find all the problems and let me know!!!!

I can't believe that CNC keeps releasing new versions so often $$$$ without fixing the crap from previous versions.
I am slowly moving away from Mastercam and heading to Siemens NX.
Hi,
I am switching to a new Dell 64bit system (windows 7).
What files do I need to copy and transfer for Mastercam?
Any other hints or tips?
Thanks in advance.
Should we not have a forum where all the reported bugs are listed? This way it is easy to see if they have been reported, this way we can also see if they have been addressed.
I know all software has bugs but from what I hear is Mastercam has more then most. Not sure if this is true but I am beginning to wonder.
