Why would they want to make things harder on themselves?

Are you wanting to do this for cosmetic reasons? Or do you want to machine the font? If you're just trying to get a toolpath, have you looked at the Project path? Maybe that will do what you want.

Correct. But the folder isn't being created as of 2 days ago when Chrome updated. Before that all was fine. When I save it in Firefox, the folder gets created. But I don't want to switch to Firefox.

Where is the root folder located? And my version is newer than yours, I had just updated Chrome the other day and that's when it started screwing up. I asked this on the Google help forum, but I doubt it will get answered. Version 72.0.3626.109 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Weird that I can't edit my above post again. But I have narrowed down my problem to Chrome not creating the folder when saving as Webpage Complete. Firefox works fine, but I don't want to have to use that browser. Chrome updated a couple of days ago and I'm looking for what they changed.

As of yesterday, my machines and spare computer won't view the image in the setup sheets, those machines and computer don't access the internet just the network. All I get are the broken image icon and then the rest of the setup sheet. Anyone else having an issue? I even put a fresh install of Chrome on my Okuma, that didn't show the images either, normally we just use IE to view the HTML page of the setup sheets. I'm the only one using Mastercam, and I know I didn't make any changes. The computer that creates the setup sheets (this one) has no issues. Was there a recent Windows update that messed with image viewing? ================================== EDIT: Ok after looking at it I see that it's not creating a folder that stores the images. Now I need to find out why

I always find that odd when people who run machines don't want to cut faster. The only reason is that they will have a shorter cycle time and therefore less time to stand around playing on their phone. Personally, I've always had the mindset of doing it faster and more efficient.

Yeah, I always get a kick out of comparison videos. The competition usually is programmed so ineffective and slow against the new item that is revolutionary. It's a cool concept for sure. But useless if all you have are standard 2ax lathes like we have.

I would say it's the opposite, if you have them to do it manually, the chances of wrong numbers skyrocket.

Thanks, So then it must be a graphic glitch that keeps unshading the edges at times. Not a huge deal, just an annoyance.

No that just shaded and un-shades the model. I'm referring to the Outlined Shaded that highlights the edges of the model in black lines to make stuff easier on the eyes.

Is there a hotkey to turn on/off outline shaded of a model? Either I magically keep hitting the hotkey by mistake, or it's a graphical glitch.

What about manual entry and a sub program?

I use a Razer Death Adder. It feels so good in my hand. As for the buttons...nothing special I only use the R,L, and wheel in Mastercam.

Do you do lots of modeling? What is your budget? How powerful of a laptop do you need for the work you do in Mastercam? The price range is drastic between entry level laptops and high end laptops.

It's not just the "more colors" box, but that seems to trigger it more often than not. The moment Mastercam starts acting funky, it needs to be rebooted. I do it every 2-3 hours now and haven't had an issue since.
