  1. a shot in the dark, but maybe contact these guys? http://www.kvtooling.com/crestCutTools.html I think Widia/Hanita makes them also.
  2. Have you contacted them to see if they will make them for you? I don't think they upcharge much for specials.
  3. It's currently a bug. When you hit Move to Origin... all of them will move. If you select the entities before Move to Origin, then you will get the "center point" of the model.
  4. True, but the ACTUAL time from when I hit regen to when it stopped was 30 seconds quicker than the parallel times Either way, it's not bad for a $2300 home built computer.
  5. New work computer that I built the other day, about 4 mins 15 seconds to regen using a stopwatch. This is with Chrome open and about a dozen tabs, and streaming SiriusXM radio. Not sure of the impact that has.
  6. We only a couple of parts to do, blind hole. Probably just going to get an aircraft drill and do small pecks. Set it up and let it run, not going to try and break any cycle time records lol.
  7. How does this material compare to 4340 and/or 4340 pht? We cut both pretty much all the time here. We have to drill some 1/4" holes, 15" deep on a lathe.
  8. Yes, but doesn't that also spit out an M06? Or is that dependant on how the post is edited?
  9. All of the Fanuc controls I've ran (all have been 0 models) the only way to restart was to go into Edit, scroll down to the line you wanted to start at, then back into Auto and Cycle Start from there. The only issue with that is, your starting points have to have the G54 code, M03, S codes, T codes, etc... That's why I have my Fanuc post set up to spit that info out for every toolpath.
  10. If all you cut is aluminum, Mitsubishi is great! If you cut steel, Sandvik has a better offering of tooling.
  11. I haven't been this tired in a long time. I can barely hold my eyes open, and it's only 10am.
  12. Oops, I misread the question. Coming off of a 4 day weekend and I'm not ready for a Monday morning.
  13. Yes, the cycle time improvement is real. Prime Turning is definitely faster material removal than traditional turning.
  14. I haven't tried it yet. Keep forgetting about it.
  15. What happens if you click the solid and then hit ALT+E?
  16. Does it happen when you import it as a STP file? Are .SLDPRT files better than .STP files?
  17. What is the tolerance on those corner radii? If it were me, I would set the internal radius to .01 so that the end mill actually contours those rads.
  18. Not that your RAM is affecting this, you having 8gb is...ok, but what really stands out is the speed of the RAM. 665Mhz? That's dog slow!
  19. Having a brain fart here. Where in 2019 do I convert a Note to entities that I can contour? Wasn't it Convert drafting to arcs or something like that? Edit--- Drafting break into lines. :bonk:
  20. Are you still on maintenance? What version are you currently using?

More RAM never hurts, ever. As for the undo function.. I never thought of that. For me the memory leak seems to appear after about 4 hours of good continuous us. Restarting it fixes it. Sure it's a pain, but it only takes a minute and you're up and running again.
  22. This is what I was gonna ask. Also how does the root look? Can you blue one up and see where the contact is?
  23. A shot in the dark, but is this what you're looking for?
