I need help proving to QC that a hole does not have +-.03 tolerance. Ok, title block says .XX = +-.03". Dimension on hole says .68(with diam symbol). I recall an ANSI spec that states that diam symbol negates the title block tolerance. Anyone have accsses to ANSI Y14.5M or Y14.100, and can find this spec.

If absolutely had to make metric parts, i would hire FRENCH operators. Not fair to ask American operators to comprehend that baloney.

Would it be possible to convert an STL file (saved from Verify) into a solid or surfaces? I need to do some further verification/inspection of results of toolpaths.

James, I recently got myself a small mill with Fanuc 0-M control. Hoping you could help with some parameters changes: 1. Possible to change "machine" position page to english from metric?. 2. If i hit reset or send machine home, "relative" position page changes over to whatever is in G54 values, possible to change this to similar as all other fanuc controls?

EMHART has a interactive heli-coil guide available for download. You type in MS or Helicoil # and it spits out more info than anyone could ever need. The file you will need is heliexe.exe, or email me and will forward you file.

Well Sir, if you drew part as solid you could find volume of finished part using Analyze/volume/solid props. then do same with a solid of raw block.

An even more annoying setting on the Hass: My night guy always sets "machine off at M30", and lets last part run unattended. Day shift runs 1st part and machine shuts off at M30, regardless of how may times has occured, day shift will always neglect to set parameter off.. I feel that setting should revert back to off, just as door interlock reverts back to off.

Does Pro-E, use prt as extension? I have file that i figured to be UG file, unsuccesfull in opening. looking thru file with text editor I notice this Wildfire in it.
