Okuma has adaptive control to reduce vibration and increase tool life. https://www.caroneng.com/products/tmac-mp here is the guys that made it possible.
We are currently have troubles with 7075. Breaking drills on a job that has ran for 8 years. Vendor says it is to spec???? Had to slow down to 1018 surface foot???
it is a parameter change on the Makino Pro 5 and you get like 600 offsets. You need the password and it is changed often. From what I'm been told the Pro 6 has every option standard. That should be interesting.
It sounds like a great idea, but the a good puck machine cost over $100,000. Scrapers will not give much more for brickets. You are only saving by recycling the coolant.
I like to make sure the coolant is topped off before warming up any machine up. It always seems to take longer to warm up a machine then for it to cool down.
Just came back from the X9 rollout. Very informative, a little long, and real learned a lot. I recommend going to more. The last one I was at was version 8 or 9.
One thing to remember is reset in memory to clear the buffer. If you reset in hand jog or any other mode. It looks like the buffer clears but it might not. Fun with EIA in mazatrol.
