  1. Nope, been running for almost two months.
  2. I have used magnets before. Major problems were rehashing chips and part moving. Had enough success, I would try it again.
  3. We are replacing a cat 40 spindle in one of our A66. A hsk 63 showed up. Would have been nice but needed to change the wine rack and tool changer as well.

  5. How complicated are your parts? do you use a combination of machines mill/turn and mill?
  6. just used stock model today with ok results. It worked for what I needed. Not to impressive.
  7. some controls freak out if you try to upload lower case.
  8. Matthew Hajicek™ - Conventus what tapper and RPMS are you using??? I think the centrifugal force changes the tappers. The research I have seen HSK gets rid of this.

  10. We use some thing like that to set bore gauges. They are Sunnen instead of Starrett.

  12. What do you mean you can not machine it??? If I can draw it, you should be able to machine it!!!
  13. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha, send it back !!! Welcome to the world of machining. Depending on time, I like to repair model. But if in a time restriction, use stock to leave. I always compare model to print before anything is done.
  14. is there any way to default the shading to not be on when opening a file????
  15. What about feature base machining? I thought that was designed for family parts.
  16. Makino has a tool data transfer(M56) during the tool change(M06). Might be something similar.
