    Tony35, No not yet, I have been sending a pile of emails with zip2go and screen shots with all kinds of suggestions, questions and bugs since X4 came out, sure if half a dozen have done the same they are flooded I keep you posted if I hear anything.

    I don't recall reading or experienced any issues myself leaving or deleting X2 when installing X3. If you continue having this problem after you get X3 reinstalled on your computer I would contact the reseller or email [email protected] if I was you, you should not have this kind of issues.

    Supreme Machine, defiantly sounds strange, have you tried a clean re-install of Mastercam? CParish, V8 so I still can be in touch with V6 Wire users ........ Post modifications on hold because of priorities higher on managements honey-to-do list..........You got any idea about Supreme Machines problems here, you oh wealth of knowledge?

    Sorry missed "Sometimes not always", so what do you do after that? replace your .MMD file with a backuped version of your .MMD and then you are ok for some time?

    I would send of a email to [email protected] for a enhancement request, more request will push it further up on the list.

    Setting => Configurations => Files => Custom Add-in and then change your path to your X4 folder. HTH Lars

    Have you checked that your *.MMD and *.CONTROL files are directed to the right paths? Computers are just 1's and 0's, sometimes things do get messed up. I clean re-install is sometimes the easiest fix.

    I believe you use to have that option with Ai add-on back in X3. Not sure if it is gone in the X4 version.

    Had a issue with Mastercam crashing on one workstation when trying to backplot anything, a re-install of the software took care of that, you could try that.

    It should be available through your Mastercam reseller, I believe it was officially a product for sale around Solidworks World back in February. The toolpath are limited though.

    Our Matsuura came with one, this thing sucks. chips jams between two rotation disks, what results in the thing stops spinning. Money would have been better spent on beer and pizza

    All the tools in our "production" machines have been created with tool holder and machine head profile. I have created a library as we have been adding tools to the machines. So I draw the tool profile and merge in the desired toolholder, like 4" gage-length ER25 Holder, the head profile for our Matsuura/Kiwa/Haas/Kitamura are drawn in different colors, so I just can delete the not-desired head profiles. I have the head on our Horizontals rapid within .015" of the tombstone in some programs. Only scary the 1st time around. I defiantly think it is worth spending the time upfront.

    Have you tried contacting Renishaw? they have always been very very helpful with stuff like this

    Don't forget to look at Mitsubishi. Few years back we had Mitsubishi FA20 and Charmilles 440 next to each other for almost 6 months competing for a spot at our shop floor. We picked Mitsubishi and have been very happy with the choice.

    I bought one of these and absolute love it. Logitech MX Got it setup so everything is the same between Mastercam and Solidworks, like one button is Isometric view, one is Top, measure distance between, send me to Desktop. Very easy very cool

    Are you talking about different configurations in the Solidworks file? then I believe it is the last one saved

    I believe you need X3 installed to get the history tree into Mastercam

    Different ways you can do this, but would normally create your Tool plane in the desired angle and then you post will give you the B-axis output, Front plane being zero degrees, Right plane 90 degrees, Back plane 180 and Left 270. So your post need to support 4-axis, like Mpmaster from Inhouse
