OK, Really, You've been waiting a while for X right? How much time did you want CNC to spend on shirts? I have a better idea! how about if they provide you with Really Really good Cam software instead!
You dont need a shirt. X is so good you'll want to program naked.

"X - It's better than Sex."
There is no Mill Only. It's one application with modules for Mill Lathe and router. The total is 1GB (approx). I'm diggin it more and more everyday.

Create a Contour or Pocket that covers the area you want to cut out. Go to Backplot and change the Step Mode to Interpolate and set the steps to the distance you want between "chops". Set Save Geometry to NOW and Pick a new Level (that your not using). Then Backplot the path.
Now turn off the other layers.
Toolpath - Drill - All - Entities
Bada Boom Bada Bing... Your done.

Sounds like your bringing it in as surfaces and not Solids. Bring it in as a solids and there wont be any holes to fall thru.
Screen - Config - Toilerance - System Tolerance
What's this set to. Mine is .00005
This has to do with the tolerance of the surface (not the toolpath).
In your Toolpath paramneters: What is your Gap setting. Mine is 300%

Exactly what version are you running.
Is is V9.1 Mr0304?
There was a problem with the NCI output when used with older posts. It would add crazy Z moves.

Are you using a custom .cfg file? Those only load from the Icon with the switch (mill9.exe my.cfg). The Sworks direct only runs Mill9.exe so the default Mill9.cfg file gets loaded with it.

Hi Victor. Open the post in the editor and search for "arcoutput" . Set it to 2 (for most machines).
arcoutput : 2 #0 = IJK, 1 = R no sign, 2 = R signed neg. over 180

Ron makes a good point if the company is investing in you, it's not pay in your pocket, but it's knowledge. And they cant take that away from you.
If someone is paying you while you get an education from them. That's a value to you. If you make an investment in personal time, classes, books or training CD's, they should take that into consideration for your worth to the company.

That's the reason for it. Not every BC is 360°.
Just click in the angle box and type in...
360/4 and it will set your angle.

Murlin,
Have you ever used the Create - Surface - Next menu - Primitave - Block. Dont even need a rectangle.
Dont get me wrong. I'm a Solids user. I NEVER draw in surfaces any more. But the primitaves are pretty quick and handy.
Solids is the way of the future and surfaces modeling is going by the way side.
Mike Mattera
In X you will be able to import a solid (Sworks, Inventor) and it will come in as a Solid.
You can NOT do solid modeling to modify, do Boolean functions or create a new solid. For that you need to buy the solids module.

Many controls will FREAK OUT if you try to rapid with comp on. Save yourself the headach down the road, when you cant figure out why it's acting weird.

You copied your config from a V9.1 SP2 to a V9.1 MR0105. They have a different number of lines in the .cfg file.
I suggest you rename your .cfg file to a .cfg-old extension and whan you re-start Mastercam it will create a new one. Re-do your config choices to that file.

You know Mastercam (the Swiss Army Knife of Cam) has a Chook called Animate.dll
Just draw your pics in the views you want to show the motion. i.e. draw the part in the various positions to be displayed. Save each file in a sequential name pic1.mc9 pic2.mc9 etc...
It's not like a real animation application, but for a "quickie" It can get your point across.

Hi Joe,
welcome to the forum.
Set "omitseq" to 1 or yes. Then find the psof section and deceide where you want the block number to appear. Insert this line. Now do the same for the ptoolchg section of the post. If your running one of my Mill post MPFANUCV9_3X you find an example of this.
Actually if your running one of my posts, all you have to do is set "omitseq" to yes and it will already do it.
pbld, *n, e
This will force (*) the n number.
