  1. I can't stand when it deletes partial radiuses when you make fillets
  2. Is there a way to make it not associative by default? I always have to uncheck it in the advanced page.
  3. I have seen tapping and some drilling cycles ad hours to run times before. What is your feed rate, toolpath ect....
  4. how big is your current tip bin? What about a small hopper? We use macx bins https://www.decadeproducts.com/products?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=products_ad&gclid=CjwKCAjwjqT5BRAPEiwAJlBuBdp6EYhEvEfvMhFXj3Y7EESlIuL41GEJ8cyziGQptkb_kirUSCxZJhoCyQMQAvD_BwE. They are about 4 ft x 4 ft x 3 ft
  5. Newer controllers have more advanced lookahead that can be adjusted for tolerance also and make a sizable difference in time. The problem is on the old machines if you go too fast you can round the corner off
  6. Camplete has the 3+1 block which you can remove the Z0 (works on fanuc). It only uses it at A-90 only when the c axis changes though. Have you tried making separate ops and then using multiaxis link? It's a little more programming but if you have a million pieces I guess it's worth it.
  7. We have some kind of virtual server thing I think because we're itar also.
  8. You're eye pee address lol
  9. 17-4 will shrink and distort.
  10. They cut the blanks already so there is not enough material. Next order we will. They had the faces Blanchard ground
  11. It's running on a matsuura 1250 from the 80s. 50 taper. Strong like bull. No thru coolant though
  12. What's the secret? Sofar the best strategy has been picking used CID 5 fluters from the scrap carbide bin and roughing it off
  13. You will have to make 2 ops with a depth difference equal to a multiple of the pitch
  14. Not unless there is a GPS device inside of it. When you get this sorted out they should have some type of sign out list or something. Or plug it into a server so you can log in through a VPN or something
  15. Steve is a good guy. He did our updates a few times and gave me the 2018 post documentation.
  16. Did you pick the create geometry box also?
  17. Yea, sometimes Mastercam switches the direction on us. Camplete posts an error about spindle speed when is sees the m4 so we use that to know we have the correct direction
  18. Allied machine threadmills are left hand cut. We cut from top to bottom using g42 which is climb milling
  19. Switching stock to a solid I don't get the error
  20. It locks up every time I verify this part. It's a big file but not huge by and standard. I'm going to try and pick the solid as stock instead of the STL
  21. Yeah I always save before going into verify, good insurance. I also like to verify because I got burned by camplete once. I have a file saved of the entire ball of an endmill inside the part and it is not red
  22. Yeah we don't really use FBM at all ever.
  23. Has anyone gotten this error. It gives you an option to retry or to switch. If you hit switch it opens a start menu. Basically You have to force close Mastercam because verify never closes and you can't get out of the server busy error. Could this be network related?
  24. What problems. Our 520 PC4 had a problem with the pallet in machine sensor but we seem to have got it ironed out. Our 3:30 is not a pallet but we did have to change the c-axis cable because it detected high resistance. But that was under warranty. Also it seems the clamping is lagging but our machine has pneumatics it's not a hydraulic machine
