  1. Check the machine def settings as they can load a different toolbar state. Maybe the other programmer has that set which gets saved with the file.
  2. I am running 2010. Also what Grooving option in Mastercam will give us the alternating option? This is a common request by customers.
  3. what codec is required for this presentation?
  4. That Peel Mill method is a neat way to handle those shapes without having to create an avoidance region which is required by Dynamic Core Mill. I like the fact that Peel Mill has a finish pass option, BUT that chaining method does not handle the finish pass properly Hopefully the finish pass option will be added Dynamic Core Mill.
  5. Looks like you need some training, contact your dealer. Or buy this book. http://www.emasterca...&do=item&id=517 first you need to create the thread point, break the geometry that you want to lead onto and chain the bottom first than the top. Turn on the C-Plane option when chaining.
  6. Click on "More Reply Options" and then Select "Attach files" so we can see what you are trying to do
  7. Thanks for sharing xycnc, I did not find that method of chaining mentioned in the manual.
  8. You will need to re-set those values as they are not associative to the geometry
  9. You can download Cimco Edit and it will backplot your macros(runs for 30 days in demo mode). http://www.cimco.com/download.php3
  10. It would be the same if you did 2 contours one with Computer Comp and then one with Control Comp, it shows whatever is first. You could add this line to ptlchg0$ if opcode$ <> 3 & opcode$ <> 16, pbld, n$, pspc, scomm_str, "COMPENSATION TYPE - ", *scomp_type, scomm_end, e$ It will then also show up at every pass of a multi depth/pass operation.
  11. Take the bat file mentioned earlier and change mcamx7 to mcamx5 @echo off echo. This batch file is to fix this error. echo. "Cannot find Parasolid Data in SolidWorks file." pause regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\mcamx7\common\SWORKSDATA\SWDocumentMgr.DLL" pause
  12. I noticed that with X7 verify the chamfer tool shows as a flat endmill when you specify a .0001" tip, works fine with a .0002" tip Or click here to get it. Chamfer multipass toolpath example.zip
  13. It is not disabled just saves as a .emcx and dimensions are rounded to 1 decimal places.
  14. Why not upload the zip2go file instead of this endless back and forth due to the lack of information
  15. This happens not only with under cut tools, but Face mills and tools with the shank being smaller than the cutting diameter. You can prevent the message popping up by making the first operation a Manual Entry operation and include that when verifying. It will force it to use the 5 axis engine which will also give you better quality
  16. But the depths cut option is not available when chamfer option is turned on
  17. Why not upload your file, otherwise nobody else will have time for your problem either. Just click on More Reply Options and Attach Files. (the same goes for everybody else who wants their questions answered sooner instead of the endless back and forth banter due to the lack of information)
  18. I have seen this exact problem with the Verify rotation point on a few different computers and updating the graphics driver fixed it every time.
  19. yes it has to do with tools that have undercuts, or shanks less than cutting diameter or flycutters.
  20. Download this zip file, extract it and right-click on the batch file and run as Administrator. Your other error can be eliminated by adding a manual entry toolpath and selecting that when verifying. SWDocumentMgr.zip
  21. Why not upload your ziptogo file and the all questions will be answered?
  22. 64 bit, the problem occurs on other computers also. I remember it working in X7, so I am not sure when it quit working.
