Go into your config, see if this is unchecked/checked
I haven't installed Update 2 as yet, so I'm not sure with the issue if it has been disabled for now though
Thanks.
The body of it existed when I got here in 2015, I have since massaged it, revamping it's layout and adding information about specific tooling.
Our downstairs shop doesn't get this sheet....doing mostly low production and prototype, they use what they have in their tooling stock that will work.
The production shop up here gets that and a listing of the holders with stickouts...much more of a concern on our high production HMC's
ALT + V will give you the version number to check a different way
Also, you may need to reboot as well...I have seen that on the last couple updates, requiring it after installing
Many moons ago the company I was working for decided to go from Mastercam to UG NX for engineering CAD and CAM....in that case it turned into a $750k boondoggle. After nearly a year it was decided that they would make the move the Engineering team had suggested and moved to Solidworks and back to Mastercam...that is where they are to this day some 15 years later.
At this point, I am so entrenched into Mastercam, if a company announced they were changing, short of a couple of software titles, I'd relocate myself. Featurecam would not be one of those titles
It needs a post edit....but can be done in the control simply

If post editing is something you can do
Dunno, our VC300A-5X that we invested properly in.....is now cutting day in/day out holding high finish and tolerance requirements.
As always, it's a poor craftsman that blames his tools
No..myself, I'd never set up that way, though I know people who have.....
Used to output as a variable and set the variable value at the top of each tool change
If you're just tool plane positioning.....and not needing to use 5 axis drill....
You just program the ops using the planes as always and leave the drilling set to 3 axis....the planes handle the tilts...or maybe I'm missing something
That's one enhancement that doesn't trip me up at all...
Not really sure why it would...should only get changed to something different than 3 axis when you're using it on a 4th or 5th axis...
Curious as to what's causing you issues?
There's a couple ways....
Set to 2D, set your Z height, create curve will project to the Z height set in 2D
Create curve on edge and use Project to project the geo down...
Then try using Simplify if it's still a spline
I'll preface this by saying I could be wrong but I reached out to Camplete last October looking for a Mill/Turn for an Integrex...
I was told that their Mill/Turn module was license to Nakamura and not available for other machines....
I'll have to dig back through my emails
:Edit: The gist of that email
BTW, I know the pics are gone...after I posted them I thought better of it...
It's the main housing of one of our sighting systems....so I pulled the caps
It seems to be a calculation error on small arcs within Machsim, it's not the code, backploy, verify or nci....try turning off filtering and see if Machsim runs properly
There is also another issue tied to axis sub but that's not in play on my file
They(CNC Software) had to really dig to find it.....I should be getting a bug number shortly but between PM's, emails and phone calls we've got it sorted out....
