Making a z2g file, click here
Your simulation models will be located here...
C:\Users\Public\Documents\shared Mcam2019\MachineSimulation\MachSim
Select the folder that represent the machine....you can just drag the folder right onto the the completed z2g folder and it'll add the file to it..
Actually, when coupled with your F9 issue.....it sounds to me like you have installed a mouse with some software/.....
You might try using the standard Microsoft Mouse driver and see if that clears your issues
Terry, if you want to send me a z2g, with your simulation models I'll be happy to look at and see what's going on...the reality is that's what it's going to take...
CNC, your reseller or someone else will have to dig into it
I can promise you your reseller does....if they don't for some reason, they(your reseller) can contact me directly to verify that you're a legitimate user and I'd be happy to share what I have...
To me, this sounds like there is a collision check set up on either the part or stock....collision checking against the stock should not be enabled..
From half a country away, can't say with certainty though
Seriously, just give the person a basic part, ask them to spend 30 minutes and evaluate their work, finished or not..you'll get the idea on how they setup their part and paths..
Machsim won't recognize them....my post handles jump heights automagially, machsim does not see them....I have to set high clearance heights, then switch them back after I'm good on part & tool clearances
You'll have to define what that standard tool is....I too do a lot of smallish parts with chamfers up against angles and walls....for us a tool as shown would be a non-starter...every part we make has to be a diamond and ont in the rough if you know what I mean...I use chamfer tools down to a 1/32 x 90° if I must to get into tight areas.....but typically with a tip offset and and depth offset in a chamfer cut I can get right against the area I need to ....
You can't....they only lease their products AFAIK they do not sell direct to consumer..the Moduleworks features that are included in Mastercam are all you have access to..
