Hi !

 

I was amaze that I could download Mastercam 9.1 full version whit Mill L3, Lathe, Wire and Solids under one hour by using Kazaa. Even the installation was easy.

 

But I think that this is no news to CNC Software.

I did not receive this message, but I have my options set to "keep my address hidden, but allow others to email me through the board". I would highly recommend this setting. I have not received any of the spam that has been supposedly linked to this board before, and people are still able to email me through the board for legit reasons.

 

Unless they figure out how to send spam through the board!!!

If this becomes annoying to you, try setting your email prefs to not display your address. Look for the section called:

 

Keep your email address viewable to others when you post notes?

 

Set it to:

 

"No, but allow members to mail me through this board . "

Unfortunately, can't set that email option as the default. The only other option is to hide all email addresses, which I think would be far worse for posting accountability.

Whatever happened to that program that some MIT dudes wrote, where you copy->paste a spam email into it, and the program would autogenerate thousands of fake orders to the spammers? If they have to weed through all the fake orders, thats a ton more work for them, for not much return...

I just recieved saw the email in my box. What an idiots. Were lucky are not in front of me. Last year a man came to our company offering major s/w's including mcam for as less as 10 to 25 dollars in our currency.
