Hole Axis Chook

 

HoleAxis9.1.zip

 

Used to create a point and vector needed for drilling five axis holes.

 

By selecting an arc, spine or cylinder shape surface you will get the hole centerline with its center point, if user picks a cylinder shape surface it will return the centerline and pierce point of the highest parent surface in the selection view.

 

When running this chook pick each hole with the mouse and you will see the results. For multiple holes use Select from the menu, multiple selection of surfaces will return mid point of the parent surface.

This works much better than the older version I got off the FTP. On the older version, it would create surfaces over a whole solid on level 255. This new version, you create a surface ( cylinder ) only where you want/need it.

Sweet, the old one didn;t allow you to use splines, just arcs. That will save alot of time - thanks man - we just purchased a laser tracker that runs with the verisurf software, very cool toy and some sweet lookn software.
