I got an announcment from my reseller telling me the Tech expo is going to be in the middle of next month and they are releasing X3.

Anyone else heard this?

A little off the subject but I heard X3 is being combined with Solidworks 2008 and will be released sometime late june as a package.

I just talked to our reseller and got the same information. The date we got was an "about" date so nothing 100% for sure. Within the next month or two is the rumor.

I got June 19.

I really miss manually editing the NCI on 5-axis toolpaths so I could get it to do what I wanted.

i just got solidworks 2008 pro installed on mycomputer there is a add on for mastercam. can someone clear that one up for me

That will be Mastercam Direct. SW saw you had MCAM installed and installed the Direct Software.

 

That allows you to load a part into your stand alone MCAM by using the Mastercam Direct link
