Is there a "whats new" file included in the exe?

A "What's New " file will launch when the install is complete.. you can access it from the help menu

or find it at

C:mcamxdocumentationWhatsnew.htm

Yes there is. But you have to install MU1 to get to it.

The effort to allow us to lock feedrates is appreciated, but without allowing that lock to work on an operation to operation basis, rather than globally, it is ultimately wasted effort. INHO, of course!

 

EDIT: the stock shading/wireframe icons make up for it!

Damn, I was able to navigate through the parameter tree without having to select the tool twice and not have to turn on the coolant! Didn't get the repaired nci error after ramsaver either!

I did not see a list of bugs fixes ... only explains "What's new ..."

Check with your reseller, they can generally let you know if something specific has been fixed.

What is a public release? There's a fixed bug list at the end of the X2MR2 What's New file.

of bug lists the last couple of years.

They are useful to competitors.

I'll verify that. Last week I emailed QC about the fixed bug list and the response was they stopped doing it because they feel it gives their competition information about Mastercams features.

 

Which is being overly paranoid.

 

If they don't want their competition to know what Mastercams new features are then they shouldn't release any new software.

Suggest try to pay attention. Has nothing to do with Mastercams features.
