my kids are all grown now. now it's on to the grand kids. in fact my grand daughter hooked

The magical years are 13~16. We have been though this and now the girls are 22 & 26, you will survive them just as my wife and I have.

Oddly enough, I think your wife will have more problems than you.

My daughter is almost 15 and she and her friends are all starting to wear less and less then talk about what pigs the boys at school are. Cheers, buddy we will get through.

Isn't ironic? Perhaps a course in cause and effect is needed by today's youth.

 

Perfect example, my oldest son (15 1/2) has a cell phone. A few months ago he figured out text messaging. So the first month he adds $64 to the bill. We give him a warning. Next month, better but still too high. This month, $44 or so. Who in here thinks he still has posession of a cell phone? Plus he had to pay us back for all of the extra charges (around $200 or so) Cause - Irresponsibility, Effect - Loss of Privilages. Of course we're the bad guys too. So, next time there's text messaging charges... guess who no longer has a cellphone. Gonna hate paying that early termination fee but...

I raised a son by myself and hes moved out and married.

 

My wife has an 11 year old daughter.

Man, little girls are a whole nuther experience all together. But in a good way....

 

Sometimes I think she is smarter than I am And she is only 11!!!
