Is regen right next to backplot in the operations manager??????

 

What should have been a 10 second backplot turned into a 25 minute toolpath regeneration by one simple misclick of the mouse.

 

And the worst part is that its my own fault!!

This is one big bonk going out to ME

Shouldn't restart ask you if you're sure? you want to undo several minutes of verifying?

jbel, do a search for "MC9RS.DLL" It separates the buttons for you. Very nice. Works for me on V9.1, SP1 and SP2

How do you use the MC9RS.dll file? I found it in the MCAM9 directory, but it doesn't run as a Chook...

What I did was move my old mc9rs.dll to another folder and then pasted the new mc9rs.dll into the main Mcam9 folder. I did this with Mastercam closed. Then I started Mastercam and the operation manager had the buttons separated. It is not a c-hook that you run once Mcam is already running, instead it is utilized by Mastercam at program launch.

Also, you need to do a search of the forum for 'mc9rs.dll' and then download the replacement file. The file that came with Mcam spaces the buttons close together. The replacement download file will separate them.

You'll notice that the File-Get dialog box is much wider also...good for long file names.

If the 'e' and the 'w' don't get along next to each other then take your scale, pop them off and move them.

That is alot of fun with hunt and peck typers.
