  1. For the dirty op problem, try putting ALL your toolpath ops in the main op dir, Do not use sub groups. I have not had a dirty op on opening files this way with 800+ ops... It is more of a pain to manage, but beats regens. This problem has been around since sub groups(ops) was introduced.
  2. Does anyone have a short example of the nc code for a Bostomatic automatic corner ramp? Or is it taken care of in the control. I was wondering if a code needs to be inserted somewere in the nc file. Thanks in advance.
  3. How about posting the drill cycle out "longhand" and change the G0's to G1's with an appropriate feed rate?
  4. Is the 5axis toolpath geo "shared" or chained in more than 1 op?
  5. FP1, I've done a few programming jobs for 2 similar Kuraki's. Thanks for the link. Bruce.
  6. Chris, you need to change your absolute rapid depth to fix your 2nd question in your 1st post..
  7. Are you sure that verify stopped, and did'nt freeze? Sometimes you will not see the red area until you advance another single step.
  8. gotta love that "automagically" stuff!
  9. What type of toolpaths are you verifying around the 84% mark? I have noticed some 2d swept toolpaths can cause this.
  10. It has to be set up in your post. The (generic) mpmaster post is downloadable from the post link at the top of this page. In your ops parameter page, click on misc. values and you will see the question to select. If you use the manual entry, you have to edit your code and delete the brackets.
  11. If you are using the mpmaster post, there is a miscellaneous value that you can use to output an M00 before an op.
  12. Turk, it looks like you have already "lofted cut" the holes. cav_section_b is I think what you are trying to achive. I used a larger hole dia. to show. You may have to adjust the position or location. If you want to drill the angled holes, you need to create the arc at the angle you want to drill, in this case, normal to the green lines, as has been mentioned above.
  13. I would not go any less than WSXGA (1680x1050) for X2. All the versions of X use up alot of "real estate". I am using this computer: http://www.acer.ca/acereuro/page4.do?sp=pa...a&crc=239156436 6#inu57_29643 and if I had a large screen, like you have, look for WUXGA (1920x1200). Here is a wikipedia link to screen resolutions: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_resolution I am thinking a 2nd display would be very useful to slide the ops manager onto.
  14. Rakesh, Like Colin has indicated, I have some software that I use to fix the file.
  15. Rakesh, I have fixed your stl file. Even solids do not work very often. 3D Solutions_stl.zip in the MCX2_files dir.
  16. hijack: I vote hardmill as the official "avatar hunter"!
  17. David, surface finish scallop works very well to rough and finish those types of surfaces, you can also turn on entry and exit vectors...
  18. What about translating your "text" geo up whatever height you need, then creating flat boundry surfaces? or solid extrude.
  19. slave, why not use the wcs? you do not have to move any geo, or lose any associativity.
  20. What size is the tool nose rad? I think if it is the same as or larger than the lead in/out you run into this problem. Try changing the length of the lead in to .15 and see if this happens. One way to fix it is to draw both lead in lines and turn off the add a line... Can you upload the file?
  21. how about fillet? enter your dia, presto!
  22. Not only do we need the right to left, a "swap" option with both arrows would be nice...
