  1. I used to use Manual Entry toolpaths for that.
  2. + a MILLION GAZILLION BILLTRILLION!
  3. Using tangent as a lead in to turning comp on is a poor choice. I know, it's available and you've probably used it for years without issue...but sooner or later it will bite you. And it just did. At some point, I've had troubles (like this) with control comp but I have NEVER had a problem with wear comp. You don't like feeding inside of a slot? All I can tell you on that is toughen up, people do it every day without issue. When using wear comp with a perp move, or a perp move and arc, the machine movements are 100% predictable. EVERY TIME. I'm sure there are some outlier cases with some off brand machine using an off brand control that will only accept a tangent move to turn comp on, but by and large, you can't go wrong with wear comp. All that said, the setting that you're missing? Use wear comp. That's the setting you need to use.
  4. Jeff, I just went through this with a friend of mine when I was helping him add a document number to the footer of his setup sheet. It appears that Chrome is no longer creating the _files folder with all the page assets (images, css, js, etc), but rather it's saving those files locally in the following location... C:/Users/Public/Documents/X+/templates/setup%20sheets. That explains why the computer that create the setup sheet displays the setup sheet as expected, but the other computers don't. The other computers are looking for that file path and when they don't find the images, etc, they are broken links. Make sense? FWIW, IE works as expected. Now, to figure out why Chrome's behavior changed...
  5. Agreed. JP was definitely a MC rock star.
  6. Sadly, he left the forum.
  7. That would be CNC Apps Guy.
  8. That's just a sample of David Conigliaro's powers.
  9. I know just enough to be dangerous. I was able to add a footer (document #, etc) to my friend's setup sheet though.
  10. Somewhere around here... C:/Users/Public/Documents/X+/templates/setup%20sheets/js/default.js It's an empty file that gets linked to in the html. It doesn't do anything until you add your js code to it.
  11. Love it! Thanks Günther. I saw the .js file in there quite a while ago, but just didn't realize at the time the power that it unleashed.
  12. My reply above is no longer accurate. New content CAN be added to the setup sheet via the Javascript file that is now included. I'm currently working on adding a document number to the bottom of a setup sheet.
  13. Well, then it certainly sounds like the update broke something. But I guess you already knew that.
  14. Silly question...are you sure you're selecting Webpage, complete when saving? Just for grins, what happens if you select Webpage, HTML only?
  15. I see. I thought there was supposed to be an images folder inside the jeff_files folder and that folder wasn't being created. I was mistaken.
  16. I guess root folder is incorrect terminology. When you save the webpage, you'll end up with an html file and a corresponding files folder. The images get put in the files folder. Example: You save the page and call it jeff.html. Wherever you save it to automatically get a jeff_files folder created and all assets are dumped in there.
  17. Jeff, FWIW, I get the same behavior out of Chrome (no images folder). Saving the page complete puts the images in the root folder. Chrome Version 70.0.3538.110 (Official Build) (64-bit)
  18. There used to be an arc multi-edit chook/nethook. I don't recall if it was supported or something that one of the great minds developed and offered at your own risk. It worked great though.
  19. You could probably get some assistance at this forum... https://www.emastercam.com/forums/forum/10-mastercam-c-hook-net-hook-and-vbscript-development/
  20. I've never been a fan of the facing toolpath. I create a boundary and use pocket instead. Using that method, you have top of stock (where to start cutting), depth (where to finish cutting) and depth cuts (your step down). It's pretty simple at that point. Welcome to the forum!
  21. I made this little web app to calculate my spot drill depths. https://spot-calc.thadseaver.com/
  22. So they can slap 2020 on it and call it a new version. Perhaps?
