if size and finish is'nt a concern
use the 1/2 carbide end mill and take
full cut of .02. run rpm around 1500/2000
for a start and feed around 25 ipm. it's
pretty easy cutting hardened steel once
you get used to it.hope this helps
marty
well don't forget about the americans charred
bodys dragged thru the streets and hung up
for all to see.yea them some real brave ones
there.no more ***** footin around,take em
down and take em down for good.we have the
man power and we have the might so just do it.
marty teh fed up with chicken sh@#$#@s
p.s. if i have offened anyone i am sorry i'm
just damn tired of whats going on, and theres nothing we can do about it
well where ever are zo is at on
our detail that will be are zo.
we will set are machine from the spindle
using a 4 inch indicator gage block.
if zo is the bottom then we don't add
anything.let's say zo of the detail is 1.0
inches up, then we would subtract the 1 in and that would be our zo.
marty
well jeff
for the pocket i use a tool called dyna shear
with a .o6 rad on the inserts.i would use a
1 inch dyna shear and rough out the pocket
then use your 3/4 carbide with rad on cutter
and fin the walls.don't know how fussy the
rad at the bottom is.hope this helps
