The conditions were outright deplorable...I was told not to talk to any of the employees while being escorted around by a Major Pei of the People's Republic of China... That must have been quite an experience Jack, hopefully Mao Tse-Tung does not monitor this forum or he might track you down.

RTM means we ship a master out for duplication so the print house can assemble 20,000+ packages for our Maintenance customers, Reseller stock, and our stock. That is a several week process as you could imagine. How is that relevant since updates are available on-line?
I have seen this also, try switching to the "Windows Standard" File open dialog style. You can do this with the Mastercam X icon in your windows Control panel.
X2 does not suffer from this problem as it uses the "windows" style but still supports file preview.

This article from John Nelson, Haas Applications Manager has some info on tolerances using Mastercam
http://www.haascnc.com/solutions_3D.asp#3D
It recommends 0.00002" cut tolerance for the perfect finish.
It has been talked about before.

I have sent this issue to CNC
X2 behaves the same way, so maybe more people should send in this issue.

How are your C-Hook skills? [smile] That might be quicker...
Not as good as yours Pete.
Are you saying that you are against writing this function into the software? Or does everybody have to write their own chook to do this?
This has been requested for years.
