I have never found one recently that worked well, when they first came out years ago there was a couple expensive ones that worked but they are not available anymore. Here is a PCMCIA device that works well. Hooked up one last week. http://www.quatech.com/catalog/rs232_pcmcia.php I have seen other PCMCIA devices that did not work.

Provide the mcx file that you are working on, so we can see what is going on.

In X one mouse click for the command and another mouse click will take me directly to the next commmand without wearing out the escape key. P.S. I am at a customer with 4 computer and it does it on every computer. The identical settings on my laptop does not have this problem. One has a ATI card the others have Nvidia The only fix is adjust the toolbar position as mentioned above.

The X+ setup sheet is great. Because it is free it is hard to complain about the lack of support for the Transform toolpath and for Lathe.

A editor with a backplotter will not make a differance. It cannot check to see what offset was entered in at the control.

camgeneration, I noticed from your website that you have a newer Mazak, doesn't it run on XP? -
It looks like there is a problem with Peel Mill and HST toolpaths if you migrated your settings (Mill_Inch.DEFAULTS)from a previous install. You may notice with Colin's method that the view changes during backplot of a Peel Mill toolpath and you may get an A0 posted out with some posts. Using the Mill_Inch.DEFAULTS that came with the install does not cause this problem.

This is a known problem with tools of the same dia, edit the operation and change one of the tools to .5001 and it should work when you import. Send this problem to [email protected] to help up the priority. Logged as defect # CNC00030715

Your original config files are from a system that had extra chooks installed. Either re-load the extra chooks or go to Settings, Customize and right-click on the "addon toolbars" and delete those.

Do you have a mill machine def loaded? I tried it and it worked.

How do can I print a drawing I ceated in Mastercam in 1:1 scale? Mastercam version 9 I know where to print but I don't see any options for scaling or setting the scale I want to use. Thank you, Alex
