  1. Yep. 3D Tool Comp. When you use CAMplete and you program a 5-Axis toolpath that has Wear/Computer/Control Comp options, you'll get G41.2/G42.2 output.
  2. Not exactly what you're looking for but may get you a head start. Or, you can always call or e-mail Kurt on Monday and they can get it for you. That's how I need to get a lot of companies' CAD data for projects. You just need to ask. HTH
  3. Here's the parameters I change on all of our FANUC 30i and 31i- controlled 5-Axis machines; #1300.1 = 1 Handle Jog OT alarm not output. (NAL) #1401.4 = 1 Rapid Stops when Feed Override is at 0% (RF0) #6001.3 = 1 Output all MACRO Variables on punch (PV5) #6001.6 = 1 #100-#199 not cleared on reset. (CCV) #6005.0 = 1 In Sub Program Call use Sequence Number (SQC) #6019.0 = 1 Output all variables as decimal number (MCO) #11350.1=1 Current section of program only displayed, not look ahead section (APD) (Requires Reboot) #11351.6=1 Parameter Group Names Displayed (GTD) #11775.0=1 Smooth TCP is Active (TP2) #13265 = 999 (MAX TLO Available) Tool Life Management H Offset Number (0=99) #13266 = 999 (MAX TLO Available) Tool Life Management D Offset Number (0=99) #13451.1 = 1 TWP 0's ok. (ATW) #14854.6 = 1 Program Input/Output is enabled during Background Editing (BGO) #19746.4 = 1 (TBP) G41.2/G42.2 ok This should set you up nice.
  4. When I get in the office Monday I'll check out our MX-330 and see if I see anything unusual. You know you don't have to use "O" number for programs anymore right? You can use up to 32 Alphanumeric characters; 0-9, A-Z, - and _. You can't uses spaces and other reserved characters. Upper and/or Lower Case letters are OK as well. This goes for all 30i, 31i, 32i, and 0i-F series controls. See how your "Feed" indicator has a metric number? You want to know where to fix that? Thanks for the info.
  5. "...PC Based...". You're going to need to elaborate a little bit. Are you talking about the "Panel i" interface or the "iHMI" interface or something different all together?
  6. Here's my log file. Almost a minute here. WHat it doesn;t show is the time from the last item in the log until I can actually start working which adds some more time. 7. I do the opposite in my CAD software. Anchor the part to it's origin and assemble the rest. Export to STEP, load into Mastercam. It's kind of nice being able to accomplish the same task any number of different ways.
  8. I just use G68.2 to pre-position then cancel, then activate G43.4. From what I understand getting the generic FANUC 5-Axis to post EULER angles can be nerve racking. Thankfully I don't have to worry about such nonsense.
  9. 2019 to 2020 was painful. It did expose some problems on my system with Windows Update though (which was a good thing) and forced me to update my video drivers. 2020's been stable though for me since getting the installation squared away. However, it takes over a minute to launch. I looked at the log and there are no issues there. With the specs on my rig, the launch should be near instantaneous. Dell Precision 7710 Intel Xeon CPU E3-1545M v5 @ 2.9GHz 64GB RAM NVidia Quadro M5000M w/ 8GB RAM Samsung 970 VO SSD @ 1TB Windows 10 Pro
  10. Smells like "... we've always done it that way..." to me. That is the WORST reason to do something IMHO. Not a fan of COR programming anymore either. Too many things to fight with when functions exist to make things much more simplified. Like G68.2 for example. Which you can get on an HMC BTW. It works pretty awesome too. Easier than G54.2 once set up properly.
  11. @Boo If I'm reading this correctly, you want to use a Horizontal Area toolpath and force it to start from the outside. Is this correct?
  12. Yes. That is correct. A little while before I left CCCS.
  13. BT/CT dual contact (BigPlus) is my preference. Not to mention MUCH better holder availability in the US...
  14. Done that once or 5 times. I'll usually add an M98P9901 (or M98P1) before the M30, that way it will wait (if running a multi-pallet system) if there is no work ready.
  15. The important thing to remember with the Auto Power-On feature, you MUST leave the machine in a condition that allows for a cycle to run in MEM mode. i.e. all doors closed, e-stop(s) released, main power on, tool magazine door(s) closed, etc... Anything that will prevent normal operation of the machine will also prevent Auto Power-On from functioning completely. If any of those things are out of place, the machine will power-up, it just will not warm-up.
  16. Translators "to" english seriously suck. It would REALLY be nice if eMastercam could require either a country, or a native language field when users register so we can try to figure out what is actually being asked. Now, back to the matter at hand, like Colin said, @jjmac6686 and @EL MEKHCHIyou guys need to put some work in yourself. We're not here to do your job unless you're paying. Otherwise, we're more than happy to help you put your finishing touches on something, or explain how a function works.
  17. You won't have to worry about a post processor or simulation/collision checking software as it comes with @CAMplete Solutions Inc. TruePath software which is phenomenal software. And EASY to use. You'll have local (Minnesota) factory support, and Productivity is the dealer and I've only heard stellar things about them. The control is a FANUC 31i-B5. If it's a touch panel screen it could be FANUC's Panel i Operator Screen, or it could be FANUC's iHMI. The latter being FANUC's latest operator interface. What the interface lacks in "oooooo shiny" it more than makes up for in features IMHO. Most Matsuuras innthe US come with G43.4, G54.4, G68.2, expanded MACRO variables, 1GB Dataserver, and a bunch of other stuff. It's been a while since I've run a Mazak, but I'd take a number of machines over it, Matsuura being one of the machines I'd take over it. JM2CFWIW
  18. I use an Iscar spreadsheet I acquired a number of years ago or Helical's Milling Advisor...
  19. I think I was at CAD/CAM Consulting when I first signed up. I was member 53 or 58.
