So I am reading this article about the Mensa Society, I thought this is neat. This group only alows in the top 2% IQ's in the world. So I go to there website to read about them, sounds really boring to me, cuz I am not smart. So, I notice they have a "worksheet" or a sample test for fun, I did it, and got 17 out of thirty right. I was kinda happy. So I thought, WTF, lets see if any of my programmer buddies are bored and want to try this. Since most of us think we are smart as hell anyway.... biggrin.gif

So here is the test, if you feel like taking a shot at it and proving your smater than me. Keep in mind I took a screen shot of my score to prove it, you should do the same. Specially since we like to call eachother out all the time..lmao

Have fun, cheers.gif

Using my vastly superior intellect. (I used Google) ->

Assuming his desk is ~1 meter off the ground, and the acceleration of gravity is ~9.8m/s^2 and using the formula:

Distance = initial velocity * time + (1/2) * acceleration * time^2

1.0m = 0 + (1/2) * (9.8m/s^2) * time^2

1.0m = (4.9m/s^2) * time^2

1.0m / (4.9m/s^2) = time^2

0.204s^2 = time^2

.4517s = time

A little less than half a second.
