Yes, I installed my 2019 MoldPlus Catia translator last week

No problems with the install and works well.. like it always does

- a lot of sutface editing Mcam does not have.

- some five axis tools that make life easier.

- electrode creation ( surface) and management

- draft angle analysis.

- solidSep ( division of part into core &  cavity)

Tools that are specific for Mold Makers, that make life so much easier, if you make Molds for producing plastic parts.

If you happen to get crappy surface models from your customers, their tools for repairing and working with surfaces are pretty stellar. If you typically get Solid Models from your customers (that are well-designed, and modeled without many errors), then I don't know if the tools would help you very much.

For a guy that does the kind of work Gracjan does, the ROI is huge.

The only feature I could use every day would be the rotate/align UV line feature.  At least I think it was mold plus that gives you the ability to do that.  Seems UV curves just aren't consistent from surface to surface on most of our parts.

Where the Moduleworks toolpaths really shine since they ignore UV for their toolpaths. Not surface normals, but UV they don't care.

Agreed, but I can't tell you how often it would have been nice to align some UV curves to help in making a runoff extension or some such surface feature with curvature continuity.
