  6. Iam using SW2005 and Mastercam Direct opens Mastercam with Part have to click (Feature-Less 'Brick') and it brings the partin to Mastercam fine. JimP
  7. We use Mitte Bite Wax Paper all the time for clamping Quartz plates, rods and shells. Mesh Mitee Grip 10252 10" x 25' we have found is best. we use a hot plate for clamping and also loosing the parts from either graphite or Steel sub plate. All the best from bonnie Scotland JimP

  10. Yuor lucky with the price in Scotland it costs £73.60 ($136) for the CD But it is still worth its weight in gold some times
  11. I had this problem and was forced to replace the hasp key hope you have better luck.
  12. I down loaded Voloview a couple of years ago and loaded it on the planers & sales team, saves me the bother makink them copies for every enquiry. I also notice that our good friends Auotdesk have pulled Voloview and are now pushing like mad there DWF viewer (in competition with Adobe reader)

  14. Been using both SW & MC since 1998 used to always draw in mastecam use Solidworks 99% of the time now. But MC still the best CAM system in the World

  18. Vericut is very accurate, very powerful and kind of pricey. I'd use it if I could afford it. ditto

  22. Thanks for your help, last night I added a arc at the bottom of the Helix different route but same answer as yours. but as you say its not ideal way, what is the point of a entry and exit point if it only uses thefirst point? Jimp

  24. in Scotland £7.50 to £12.00 for machinist Iam on a salary so if you divide my pay by hours likely 50 cents a hour. £1 = $1.80 approx jimp in bonnie scotland
  25. I think you need to use iso controller and not Hurco's own language. If you can use Mastercam please let me know! Jim
