I don't think if you change the size of the holder in your tool parameters that you'll see them in the verify. A way to kinda bypass that is to create a custom tool including the holder at your specific dimensions.HTH!
Simon
Hi,I'll elaborate a little more, go in your first operation's parameter and there's a case under coolant called change NCI, go in it and chack if your NCI name is right and if so just get out of there and it will prompt you to use this nci for all operations and say yes and that's it. What happens (the reason your missing operations) is because you have different nci and it takes only the one's that are like your 1st operation nci.HTH!
Simon!
Hi Botty, easy one here, you should have seen your flowline data when you applied your toolpath and choose the offset (because flowline consider the normal of your surface), the cut direction, the step direction and the start (up or down) if you already have the operation done, go in the operation manager and expand you flowline geometry by clicking the little + and you'll see flowline data and play with it. HTH!
Simon
Hi Jim, there's in the operation manager, if you right-click, in options "edit common parameters" that would do what you seem to want but do a search and there seem to be issues with it.HTH!
Simon
Yes it does in the case where your profile have sharp corners but not in your sweep path, it will give you a warning path urve not smooth within 5 degrees.HTH!
Simon
Hi NC, welcome to the forum, I fixed 97% of your problem, the other 3% must be the sketch, I could do the left side (if you look from the top) and the right side I could go up to a 0.122 fillet. FYI, I used edge for selection. HTH!
Simon
Hi Rob, welcome to the forum, when you go in the verify, click on the 1st icon on the left and you need to activate your stop on collision (bottom left) to be noticed when a collision occurs. HTH!

File is on FTP under MC9 Inside-slots-simon, I did one operation with the front plane and did a transform-rotate (which I don't think will be usefull for you) but I hope you'll get the infos you're looking for.
Simon!
Hi Mister, just create yourself a toolplane and do a 2D contour and that's it, your post must have the 4th axis off to have a 3 axis output.HTH!
I'll try to upload something that looks like it.
Simon
Do you have a different offset for each side of the part? If it's a horizontal machine, you have to make your wcs active by putting the W in the one you work on but if it's a vertical where you just want to index with the same origin you change the T and C plane but don't activate it with your W. Maybe not too clear but HTH!
Simon!
Is the file uploaded? I'd like to see that, if you want by then you can e-mail it to me. Is your keep tool down activated with island pocket? If so, it might be that, believe me I know what I'm talking about, It cost about 700$ to learn it...HTH!
Simon
Go in screen configure under nc settings tab, you'll see operation defaults (bottom left) and go in there save and you'll have like an operation manager with all the possible toolpaths there. Just go in the parameters of the toolpaths you're using and all the changes you make there will be your defaults. HTH!
Simon
Are you speaking french really Noel because with a name like that (sounds french at first sight) we wonder here for a while and now Phil opens the door so I'll ask.
