Dave ! Yes .it is for 5 axis mirroring . -
Due to the specific of my work I need to reverse chain together with change side on many toolpathes simultaneously . In some 5 axes job it may be 100 toolpathes from 150 total . And many times a week . It takes lots of time . If someone can write a C-hook for me ,that I could do it in one strike with preselected in operation manager toolpathes I will be very gladfull Best regards

Bruce ,if you are buying Haas 5 axes write me a letter and I `ll give you some tips ,that may help you

I sent this to QC 5 years ago ,and got no answer I composed a yeller about VERY BIG PROBLEM - It started all good ,it was a sensation I drew a big pot on the Mastercam station ! I drew it in Solids and painted it green And put in some honey on level 13 . I opened the same file the next early morning The pot was all there ,but where`s the honey ? I`m yelling from hunger and desperation I `m seeking for help and consolation (And CNC Software must pay me some compensation ) Still no honey

You can make the toolpath using stl model ,though

Turn off rotary axis in HSM ,by default it is turned on

Ahlan ! There is big probability you will see the cone while in dynamic rotating . Have seen this before

Same TH!NG here . Drives me crazy . Happens every time,when I have changed chain tolerance from 0.002 mm to 0.02 . MasteRcam forgets the chaining TOLERANCE and naturally the regen fails . It can happen with both chains ,yet most of times with the upper chain

Welcome on board ,Createch2 aNALIZE->TEST SUFACES AND solids>test surfaces-> check normals (select it ) and select surfaces to make all surfaces normals one direction HTH

first is f=1700*0.012=20.4 inch/per minute Second is f=4000*0.0026*2 (if the drill is two-fluted )=20.8 INCH/PER MINUTE

First one is feed per revolution FR Second one iz feed per tooth FZ FR=FZ*number of teeth Feed per minute is S*FR

hANITA Varimill +1 Never tried Inconell ,but milled Monel (same **** ) Worked great

Check the Path variable ( helped me once with multiple Mcam X on computer ) Check the pathes inside configuration file too ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If they took every third IT guy, put him against a wall and shot him, it would be a good start IMO ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``` As a former IT - shoot every second user -helps great .
