  1. When I used it think the 3 axis original path was set to it's plane for all 3 and the convert was at my 5 Axis home.
  2. yes i belive it was select.., now its operation selection
  3. I try to name the level, like op 3 toolpath data, or more specific and multiple if they start to overlap
  4. 1 and 3 can be changed in the op defaults
  5. The boundary may overlap the stock but It's not accounting for the tool radius. Like said, open the boundary or rough with dynamic. Or old school pocket from outside In
  6. On our newer feelers that have the 31 I believe, when you are in dnc mode you can device change to the card and from the directory set dnc soft key and run from the card. It is not run as a sub program. You can block search like you would in a cnc memory program.
  7. I had a pocket do that years ago. It was good and when I changed the step over from 50 to 55% it went thru the center boss
  8. It worked. i even found a fanuc A02B-0303-K150 adapter that came with one of them so the door will close with the card iniit
  9. Ok thanks. Maybe it was an MD. It's on a feeler 580 pallet
  10. yes then it will enter from the left and right. it may do some ramping still but it will do what it can from the outside on left and right. you can put it on center containment option too. the rest milling will prevent it from machining the whole boundary
  11. make the containment the travel limits of your machine from x0y0. if you have enough air it will go from the outside
  12. you can manipulate where is starts with the containment boundary. you may need to make a stick model and use rest machining making an entry area in your travel limit
  13. Put a # in the header area on the line where those are output. It should be able to see what's on each line
  14. are you using line for orientation? i usually use line and let it do its thing
  15. I usually don't do anything special. Is the back half yellow indicating cutting geometry? Shank clearance may be too big
  16. Draw a containment with the fixture outside of it and leave a large area for the tool to enter on the part side
  17. You could make a sub program and program the feature incremental. But you can adjust to go by operation type and order. You would need one for each tool that has multiple ops to use the minimum tool changes and prevent feature jumping
  18. So you would transform the 2" and then do a rotate and ghost the transform 2" op out
  19. I have rotated translates and translated rotates. It works, just don't go crosseyed trying to follow it after your done
  20. personally i don't like negative depth facing. if the next time the stock is different it could wipe the jaw out or make the part ull. I would set off the bottom and start with the shortest piece
  21. when you have duplicate planes the t/c will jump back to the first one when you change the views. this has been like that for a while
