X4 compatability

Just downloading & thought of a few c-hooks that I use daily.

 

Has anyone tried to use Holeaxis in X4?

Cimco's adaptive clearing?

MoldPlus Catia translator?

 

The first 2 are used everyday...so hopefully they will work or there is an update in the works...

Downloading X4 now. We are going from x2mr2sp1 to x4 here (skipping x3 all together). I am hoping to see a big improvement. Thoughts?

Just installed X4 this morning.

No problems migrating everything.

 

I'm loving the new toolpath interfaces so far, like multiaxis drill and surface rough & finish.

Home run there, guys.

 

Verify is still crashing which is a bit disappointing.

 

Overall though, I am pleased with the new version, and I'm sure improvements are already in the works.

i have worked for some ppl that did not reinvest in there business thats why no mc4,5,8. glad i left them. all three are out of business now!! adapt or die!!!!!!

There's a new feature called '3D Enhanced Toolpath Refinement' which looks promising. I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know how it works.

 

The multiaxis drill interface has a totally different look and feel which i think is a big improvement.
