Tomorrow (Friday) our Company is having it's Annual award ceremony for Employee's Who have achieved certificates Internally or externally

for any work related training or course's

they Have done in the last 12 month's

 

I will Receive my Mastercam Certification (and Solidworks)

and with any luck get a peck on the cheek from the Christina Aguilera lookalike Training council representative (no tongues allowed)

 

Do any of the rest of you guy's have any sort of recognition of your achievement's in your respective company's ??

We don't really have a formal deal though the boss will on occasion give us "extra stuff" for all the extra stuff our department does.

heh, i praise myself everyday,it goes like this:

praise the lord hopefully i can retire in 20 years

other than that all i get is frustrated

 

at past jobs i used to get all kinds of small perks. one job my boss actually shook my hand and thanked me every day. seems times are tough now and more is just not enough.

when I work tomorrow I'll get paid overtime.

That's a huge improvement on some jobs I've had.

 

There are some cool machines to play

with and we build neat stuff. In three weeks

parts with "programmed by gcode" on them will be

rolling around on Mars.

That's better than a T shirt any day
