  1. I would suggest either contacting your reseller and or posting this question on the main Mastercam forum. https://my.mastercam.com/forums/forum/customer-forum/
  2. I would assume that you will attach your Ziptogo file so others can see/ suggest what to do within your file.
  3. The reduced end does not look round so you are most likely going to have to make this in one setup as there is no way to locate the part. We use 5C collets to hold parts like this using a fixture like these (to hold small round stock). https://www.eaglerockonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Wettstein-Tool-A1-210.pdf
  4. Use the 2D swept toolpaths or the Model Chamfer toolpath.
  5. When in edit mode click on the axis in the tree and edit the direction (X,Y, Z) to get the direction you need. If you need to change the pivot point change the Rot. Base Point.
  6. Just push it 4 times!!!!! :D~~~~~~
  7. Look at the Bench mark link I posted above for the CPU's. The newer 13 generation CPU's are producing better times on the Mastercam Benchmark tests as well.
  8. Look for CPU with single thread performance, these are the ones that give the best numbers on the Benchmark test. Xeon's have never performed well in Mastercam going by past reviews. https://www.cpubenchmark.net/singleThread.html
  9. Just for a double check run the task manager when you have the file open and look at the performance to see that the Nvidia GPU is listed. Failing that you might try a re-install of 2023.
  10. Sounds like a graphics card problem. Are you running a system with two graphics cards (on board and a high performance GPU)?
  11. He is puttering around these days!!!!!
  12. You can use “Tabs”, this will allow you to leave some thin support areas so the part doesn’t separate from the stock.
  13. Since the radius does not match the end mill radius I used a Swept 2D toolpath. See the link to a video I created. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/su7grywgxavpgu39e8657/Swept.mp4?rlkey=wxjbc417jh5nc3n6izj5lzvco&dl=0
  14. Assuming your radius on the end mill matches the corner radius. Chain above the radius where the radius meets the wall. Then set the depth to the bottom of the radius where it meets the floor. If you link a Mastercam file I can make a video for you.
  15. See the video I created for you. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/w7c30jp8ocuxn311oth33/Chaining.mp4?rlkey=x1gon1hvmoebqqplv2kwjpxee&dl=0
  16. Post a Mastercam file (Link a file in your response).
  17. Did you save the file? Then rename the NC file and see if that helps.
  18. If the solid has no history you can add history then suppress these features. I would do this on a copy of the original on a new level.
  19. See this video. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/pw1yj29yj2jp6eapmtnse/Machine-Definition.mp4?rlkey=xyc6uyfas8fvmnp792nwd7rzl&dl=0
  20. You should likely set the Control Definition for Inverse Time feed rates for the rotary movements. You will need to increase the min inverse feed rate in the Machine Definition as well. Your file has it set set to degrees/min for the 4th axis rotary feed.
  21. https://www.mastercam.com/news/press-releases/mastercam-acquires-postability/
  22. You can try using a barrier cream. It might help prevent the reaction.
  23. In your Control Definition under Tool there is a check box "Enable Staged Routines". This is to turn on or off staging the next tool.
  24. Without a file it is hard to make suggestions.
