It's too bad that the language that came up in the Linda Ronstadt topic had to happen. Some people just don't know how to carry on a discussion. Or other people aren't supposed to have points of view.

Hello Jack,

 

I am intrigued by all that is going on in the world. I watch CBC constantly, and did see the Movie 911. I also saw two documentaries about the saudis and the Bush family.

 

I am just concerned for world stability.

 

You mention Fireworks. From which direction will they come?

I don't understand why the folks on the forum have to act like their opinion is the only one that matters.

 

It is attitudes like that , that will eventually get this thread closed as well.

 

Seems like if everything is peachy in someones little world, then it doesn't matter about anyone else.

 

Here in Canada, we have a more socialist approach and usually finish cleaning up the mess that dictatorships and Fascism leaves behind.

You've felt the wrath of terror up north how many times? Had your ships and buildings blown up how many times? Had postal buildings closed down worried about handling your own mail from highly infectious pathogens circulating in your postal system how many times? And are the Palestinians victims of the evil Imperialist Israelis who are forced to board a bus and blow up as many women and children as possible?

 

Tough times demand tough hearts. Not every solution will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy when you lay your head down at night sir. If this gutless attitude prevailed in WW2 we'd all be speaking German right now. Come on!

You don't clean up anything you follow our lead when it comes to world affairs and even your own National Defence is done by NORAD(US Based). You really should think before you speak and remove all doubt about your lack of intelligence. As far as I can tell you don't have any B-52's,B-1's,B-2's,No Home Built Fighters(CF-18's),Aircraft Carriers,Trident Nuclear Subs, or a whole list of other military equipment needed to defend your own country. Once again you asked to be slammed for speaking without thinking. I suggest that you take Jacks advice and quit while your ahead and Americans are still being nice to you.

Just for the record which you must not remember very well, Germany and Japan both got their a$$e$ kicked and both turned out quite nicely with their "democratic" governments that we setup for them. Also their products seem to dominate certain segments of the worlds economy now.
