  1. I can try and save it as a .step/ .stp file for you with NX7.5, send it over.
  2. If you deleted them there is an undelete option. If you hit the firecracker they are gone as far as I know.
  3. Hey Ron, I would like a model of our Daewoo DMV 3016L. Does anybody have one out there? Thanks John
  4. Keep it here for a while JP!
  5. If you have Adobe Design Premium you can do it with out cutepdf. Cutepdf does work very well.
  6. Supercar 2006, Who is your Mastercam re-seller?
  7. Greg, Try to create surfaces from the solid (on a new level) then extend the surface. John
  8. I would like to add that all Cad/Cam software that I have seen or used have some sort of issues. I am sure CNC software is aware of what is out there and how much these programs cost. I think JP is correct in saying that putting down Mastercam on this forum will not make anything better IMHO. Sure if you have a bug or problem go to it but if you are here to promote another software I think the line is being crossed. I can say from experience that In-House Solutions tech support is light years ahead of the NX GTAC. John
  9. You can also convert your solids to surfaces (on another level) and machine from the surfaces. John
  10. It may have changed but when it first came out it did not have all of the toolpaths that MC did at that point.
  11. Marshal, I don't see a benefit of it IMHO, it is limited. John
  12. Send the file over and let me have a look.
  13. Brad, You are one of the few guys here that will know anything about UHV parts and welds!!! We build custom made UHV chambers and parts here, there are 3 of us whom do the welding. Good luck in your search!
  14. That is funny... not a chance! I live in Milton but work downtown here in TO.
  15. I would try and eliminate a lot of the roughing (surface tool paths) and replace them with pockets and or contours where ever possible. Then do your surfaces.
  16. Chall, I don't have my sim with me at home to look at the file. Always use 2d toolpaths when ever possible. I like to work from surfaces as opposed to working from a solid. John
  17. I viewed it in edrawings and I would redraw this in MC. John
  18. Hi John, Stupid question but did you check all of the levels?
  19. Does Catia make a cam software or is it an add on to the cad software?
