You could define your spot drill as a chamfer tool then use it in that tpath. Mcam doesn't care what's in the description only the initial defined shape.
I spoke with someone who felt Mcam V9 was the best version ever and in the same conversation complained that he couldn't open the SWorks files his customer was sending him.
Your home computer doesn't need to be anything special. My wife works on her work computer at home using a laptop she runs dual monitors at work and we have a dual monitor setup at home as well. I'm fairly certain they are using Go to My PC.
that's just a part file, with out the post I can't output code
even if someone were to grab the post file from your Z2G they wouldn't be able to use it due to it being keyed to your hasp key
from the looks of the file I would try rotating the Y axis of your custom plane 180 deg
I used a B/C post that I have and it is posting code with no errors
is it a form drill that you are looking to use in the lathe drill tpath?
You can use the custom icon on the create new lathe tool and then set the tool type to drill, you will be able to select the geom from a level in the part file or select an external Mcam part file.
Sounds more like a hardware issue, what are you using for graphics support?
Does your system have a standalone graphics card?
Is the card a vector graphics card?
When was the driver last updated?
Is the graphics support a chipset?
Do you have dual graphics support? (chipset & stand alone card)
Scott the holder profile is fine, if the tool has a taper defined for the shank that will cause an issue though.
Remachining for the HSpeed surface tpaths is now on a page called "stock"
( don't know why they changed the name, kinda like Constantinople / Istanbul )
Another possibility for the lack of tilt is not allowing enough of a maximum angle.
Are you using a tool with a taper defined?
The tilt strategy doesn't like tapered shanks, I define them as having a stepped shank then it will produce tilt.
