  1. This is a known issue with last drivers+windows7. You can try to set block transfer mode in buffer flipping mode (in Nvidia control panel) or use older drivers. However nvidia 370.00 and higher releases should be affected. It s weird 377.11 works OK.
  2. If I remember correctly video acceleration may be disabled in Mastercam advanced settings utility (shortcut should be found in windows start menu Mastercam folder)
  3. To use moduleworks toolpaths locked in 3axis you need to select your toolplane in multiaxis interface specific tab (not the usual GUI where you set WCS/Cplane/Tplane).
  4. Cimcoedit should be able to do it
  5. It would work for your example, making your helix radius value about your air region but for larger pockets that won't work...
  6. I guess you can do it with 1 op (if you don't need multi-depth...). Remove air region and change top of stock in transition tab where you want to start your helix entry.
  7. Air region means there is no stock to remove so tool won't ramp if it can plunge in air region. If you need helix entry, remove air region or use circle mill. But as you just said circle mill won't do it I'm not sure to understand what tool motion you need to get...
  8. Anyone knows if lathe 3D tools will be support soon ?
  9. That did the trick. Thank you very much guys !
  10. Any additional infos how to get rid of this issue?
  11. Make sure pPointsCount postblock is called from ptlchg$ and/or psof$/msof$ postblocks
  12. It will take you time and effort to learn and customize 2019 GUI... finally you will get used to and you should be happy !
  13. Good catch. Actually this toolpath (and other legacy toolpaths) will assume a standard radius cutter for calculation toolpaths...
  14. It looks like there is an issue with this combination of tooltype/toolpath and I can't find an easy workaround to this...
  15. Your tool looks pretty good now. Maybe there is an issue... May you share a file?
  16. You still can't use a custom profile to compensate/calculate toolpaths. From your screenshot, Mastercam will always compensate on Mastercam tool profile (outlined) so you can try to improve this outlined contour playing with Mastercam tool parameters.
  17. You can use a backplotter like cimcoEdit or NCplot then export to a DXF file
  18. However, with a standard tool definition you still may use custom geometry on a level.
  19. I'm not sure to understand what you need but I guess there is a Mastercam command to achieve it. Could you make a quick sketch ?
  20. I don't have 2017 anymore so i only can post a 2018 file... I couldn't make it with a swarf toolpath but you can do it with morph and collision control. swarf_retract.mcam
  21. I never tried MCfSW but i think you can't use Chooks add-ons. It can be a major restriction.
  22. Plane origin values here are always expressed in absolute Mastercam coordinates system so you can't zero it out without moving it. I guess you have a post issue or needs info/training to know how to set Mastercam toolpaths to make your post work. You should ask your post seller.
  23. - You may use a safety zone - You can split your swarf toolpath in several toolpaths (with one pass only) then use a curve 5x toolpath in between to make your tool go exactly where you want the way you want - Same as above but you can make it pretty automatic using specific 5x transition toolpath Which Mastercam release? May you post a file?
