i put a file on the ftp under X7 called AJMER_IHS_TRANSLATE ROTATION TEST 1-10-14.MCX-7 the plane are correct in it

try changing transition moves from tangential to straight or ramp see if that makes a difference

Having problem with depth cuts between contour and pocketing.

set the depths to absolute and -.1875 and see if that corrects the issue -
try renaming the nc file, right click in op manager ___edit selected operations

look in the post and make sure this is 0 rigid_tap : 0 #0 = Floating tap output, 1 = Rigid tap output (suppress spindle output and output M29) also look for this use_pitch : 0 #0 = Use feed for tapping, 1 = Use pitch for tapping make sure use_pitch is 0 which will output IPM, some Hass's are setup to use pitch

buy cimco edit pro, backplot the toolpath and save as dxf import that back into mastercam -

cant you justclick on that segment and it tells youon the right side diamter and height -
when you import the iges file click on the options buttom then masking disable all the entities except for surfaces then hit ok

are you sure you don't have use tools step peck coolant enabled

Hey Mig, if you just run FBM it will create geometry for you automatically you do not have to set any options look at your level manager after you run fbm

mr fish, what i have done is run fbm just to make the geometry. run fbm and delete the operations. the geometry gets savedto a different level.

Verisurf has an option that can reverse all normal directions on all surfaces

if you restart mastercam, you will get that functionlaity back. I have had that happen aswell, cant find a reason for it but a restart corrects it
