somename75, I used media player.

Try going to the microsoft website and updating you player.

I did the same with my home PC bout 2 wks back.

But when I go to the ftp it's not there.

I see the mercedescommercial.wmv and the model-airplane crash.wmv, but nothing inbetween.

Well guys i sure hope the graphics get a lot better than that. That was kind of depressing to see if I can be honest. I like the coordinate method verses the one he was demoing in the video. I see milling which is easy. I can do that right now with Mastercam using the toolpath editor the lathe is the one that is the real PIA when I see a video showing some pinch turning then I will get excited that was not all the impressive to me. sorry to bust someone's bubble because I know a lot of hard work has gone into this product, but pray we are light year away from that video.

I assume the video is well over a year old. There is a point in the vid when he talks about the reseller meeting wich is just around the corner. I don't think this product will be released in the near future though. Considering no one has heard anything about beta testing yet.

#19 on reccommending Esprit or Partmaker on Thursday...

 

This seriously breaks my heart because MC could be so KICK @$$ in this area... I saw the early MATSS stuff... man... Some of the guys I know just love it too, they KNOW I'm a Mastercam guy to the boneand they just love watching me squirm as I have to reccommend something other than Mastercam.

 

At least I can still kick their @$$ around the world a few times over on the Milling side of things so all is not lost. I wonder though how many that have chosen Esprit or Partmaker will be lost sales forever because those packages also have milling and wire add-ons because no matter how god MC is at milling, it's gotta be awful tough to sell a company on not adding milling to their Esprit or Partmaker, unless MC has something they can absolutely not do...
