john, go into the Proe-file and check the tolerance...

 

Make sure it is around a .0001.

Make sure in MC your chaining and chordial deviation is about the same.

 

Export from ProE as a solid from the IGES CONVERTER.... If you export from ProE with the default it is set to ALL Quilts...

 

If that does not work, your Proe Translator is very old...

parasolids are a good source for solid models

imported into Mastercam..

The parasolid kernal is proprietary to Unigraphics.. they own it and CNC Software

licenses it for use in Mastercam

That's one of the reasons Mastercam usually

does a better job of importing parasolids

over step..
