I was told from my reseller that X7 will have probe routines as well with posts. Supposedly Cnc Software is working with Renishaw. I hope so because we do alot of probing here.

Machine simulation, the sooner you release it the sooner you can start working on it. We mill/turn guys are using a hell of a lot of precious imagination, visualizing turrets that aren’t there.

Currently Moldplus can do this.......

1.) A Zoom window with in a window in Verify, so you could zoom in on the tool on it's path, this would work great on really big or long parts.

 

2.) In Define Tool, Why not have Center Drills Defined as common sizes, like... number 2 center drill by default.

Its 3rd party and one can only hope CNC has developed their own verify for X7.

Dynamic contour is a great tool path made nearly useless.

I just hope they speed up verify and toolpath regeneration. That would be enough to make me happy. But I would be even happier if they fix it so when you pick a check surface Mastercam actually treats it as a check surface and doesn't cut a part in two like it did today on me.
