Just wanted to say hello to all here. Im new to mastercam but been programming with Smartcam and running conventionals since 91. Been watching the forums for a couple weeks now and looks like a great place for help....caz I know Ill probably need it before too long.

Thanks everyone for all your responses. Its great to find a place where everyone is frienly . And for those who ask we have Fadal VMC's Yang Lathes , and an old Japax EDM wire. Were a job shop so we do pretty much anything from fixing a broken bolt in an old arsh tractor to building Molds and Dies. Dont slam on me too hard but check this site out www.vettecityspinners.com this is a product the bosses son thought might take off.

Barghest, I think I've seen similar "spinners" on cars before. I think on the Cadillac SUV.

I to started by using Smart Cam. You will find that Master Cam will be easy to learn. In time you forget all about Smart Cam. All cad software is about the same to use. I'm currently learnig Pro-E.
