Yes. I think it started around the time I installed Mu1. But I'm not sure, I also had changed a setting to do with Indexing un-known file types around the same time because my ability to search for a phrase in file had gone away. I don't know which happened 1st. Or if either one has anything to do with Mu1.
No real issues here, Just an iritation. When I hit esc at the wrong time and it closes, it doesn't remember where it was, always goes back to the upper Lh corner. Seems like I'm always dragging it across the screen. Am I missing a setting somewhere ??
Just ran into the same thing. The Tool file name on last page changed from pointing to a flatmill to a bullmill. And one of my bullmills changed to a flatmill, then it wouldn't stick until i regened the op. also "as defined" in tool profile
area of verify params, or custom tools wouldn't show correct.
are you kidding ?????
That can't be right, I was told if we bought the maint, and upgraded to X it would be free, years ago now, been waiting, taken serious hits and lost credibility with management. Still nothing to show, and now its going to be something we have to pay for ???? I've already paid dearly. All the time lost pasting programs together, all time defending Mastercam. If we have to pay for it after putting up with all the bullsh!t, then even this die hard mastercamer (15 yrs or so) is done. sorry.
groove finish parameters, last tab under lathe plunge rough. there is a lead-in there. but most of the time i end up creating a seperate finish op and adjust plunge parameters and tool width comp, then you more control.
I'm with you Kaz.
Rant-on
I've been waiting and been told since before "X"
that its coming. I even have a machine that my
dealer says they won't make me a post for until it happens. Been waiting on that for 2 yrs now.
I've used Mcam for 16 yrs and don't want to change. Breaks my heart to see them go with the Solid works thing, (we use pro-e), Simulation (we use Vericut) Art, and everything else instead of getting me the tools I need to do my job. My boss
is pushing Gibbs.
Sorry everybody, couldn't help it.
Rant off.
