or right click on that shaded area and you get options as well

Check the entry helix tab Could be that the helix is too big to fit into that area..there is an option to plunge or skip pocket if helix won't fit..try making the helix values smaller. Also check XY clearance. Make that number smaller

make sure the version of the files matches your mastercam version

try this go to regedit and delete this folder it will rebuild when you restart Mastercam

One thing i have done to isolate open chains is set the options in the chaining dialog box to be open chains only and put a window around the selection and it will only pick open and or closed chains maybe helpful here

if you change to number of cuts and set to 4 you will have to gouge check the floor though as it goes right to the bottom of the surface IHS-parallel to surface.mcam

yes or you add stock to leave in the 2d contour and regen all the ops

yes seems the whole lower edge is undercut

i think it is because e the curve you have picked is actually under your surface it "works" for the contour but when you use a surface toolpath it stops when it cannot go past teh green surface hope that makes sense

not sure what you are trying to do specifically but if you click on plunge parameters and click the second one you get motion

try manually adding a G01 line right after the G41 what is on teh machine under D 7? make sure the number is not too big
